well Josh, simply put, because 'intelligent' music is somethign worth listening to? See, there are some of us who hear the music on the radio and MTV ... and this "WHAT?!" - I'm sure you're one of those people. Intelligent is a relative term (IMO) describing music that is in contrast to much mainstream music in that there is more soul than poppy market-appealing bullshit. Since even in electronic music we have said bullshit, we needed a name to dub this 'good' music worth listening to by. I say its a good term. And by the way, sure, I think there's intelligent trance. There's this group caled Aqualite - which by the way, someone should point us/me to a siet or discog. or something, that makes intelligent trance, especially good trance, even if youre not a trance fan. And since trance AND intelligent are such broad categories, most anythign -could- be inter- preted as intelligent trance. IMO, aqualite and some DJs like digweed and oakenfold fall under this category (though definitely not interrelated :) peace delphi --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
