Yeah, I saw the Seattle show last week. It was a pretty good show... Actually, I thought that the person who performed before Lexaunculpt was really entertaining, where as Lex himself was pretty boring. Well, I should explain myself: Lex only brought his laptop... And, he could have been playing tetris, for all I know.. But, the guy before him had a few toys along with his laptop: some sort of touch-sensitive pad, a small keyboard (?) and a toy turntable (plus other stuff?). This guy was really getting into it and he was fun to watch and listen to. He had a overhead projector that he used to display the algorithm for each "piece" of music. I believe he was using Max on his laptop... Lex played a few tunes that I had not heard before... One memorable one included the "Fuck tha police" sample from NWA (?). I am not sure if Lex uses other hardware besides his computer in the studio, but it would make his shows a lot more entertaining if he has a few more things to play with on stage... ;) Hess Hodge hess@surrealistic.net On Mon, 10 Jul 2000, mattis wrote:
