the other thing to keep in mind
is that SP has released what like 15+ albums?
each album is not like a giant monolith demarcating every aspect of his art
every couple years
each album is just a small part of his whole catalog, 8 ideas here, 13
ideas here, etc
really the more i listen to it i cant get how someone could think its dull
unless they just plain are mad that its not the album they wanted (i.e.,
exactly like one of the previous ones)
