Broadcast 'The noise made by people'
I picked this up a couple of weeks ago (along with Speedy J's 'A
Shocking Hobby' and Vadislav Delay's 'entain'). It is nothing like either of
these CD's :). Think very sparse instrumentation (no walls of sound) based
around guitar and organ/synth, leaning toward 60's melancholic pop songs
(sort of in the vein of Stereolab). There are a few tracks though with some
very subtle and beautiful use of vocal processing (giving the woman's voice
a very metallic feel). I personally love the CD. Hate to sound like a spin
reviewer but its very catchy in a dark 'pop' way.
