I like Hrvatski's "Oiseaux" album, but "album of the year" it just isn't.
One of the things I'm most critical of when listening to music is how the
entirety of the album remains true as a whole... I don't like the tracks
to be completely homogenous, but I like them to be about the same idea.
"Oiseaux" remains a collection of outtakes, and it works well as a
compilation, but as an album I'm not sure it holds together terribly well.
He definitely rocks though.. Boston's prodigal electronic musician..
although I hate to say it, he's gone way beyond the Toneburst folks in
terms of sheer musical ability and welcome surprises/deviations in all his
tracks.
