OK, On a technical note, I have toying with the perrenial sound querry of "Does the CD version extend the dynamics of TB's variation, compared with the vinyl version?" This is purely a digital v analog transfer Q; As the variations were recorded via vinyl, do the sounds exposed transfer better through digital audio or does it lose the dynamics when analog (use of dub plates) transfer is applied. What would TB have to say?? What would he prefer? Does the Cd version elicit sounds which we would't find on vinyl? Is this music idm or imm (intelligent minimal music)? Anyone?
