Spot on mate! Yep, Serkul is Tim Koch's (aka. Thug's) original Amiga demo
scene moniker under which he made music for lots of great Cydonia Amiga
demos. He carried the name on a little into the PC and music world when the
Amiga died the unfortunate death that it did, before settling on the name
Thug... well at least for the time being anyway. ;)
As in the tradition of Lackluster/Focus a few more of the tracks on this
release originally appeared in this format too. Though they have since been
redone for this release, so if you want to find out what Thug was musically
up to before "Isolated Rhythm Chock", buy Tim Koch's "Please Don't Tell Me
That's Your Volvo" CD or put in your pre-order with S://kimo Music
<skimomusic@home.com>. It really is top shelf stuff.
Cheers,
John
