Maybe not so off-topic, since much of idm (and ambient) blurs the
distinction between noise and music.
Always found the sound of the A/C to be soothing ambient noise,
especially for sleep.
However, this effect only occurs if the A/C runs continuously through
the night.
If the thermostat shuts it off from time to time, those SILENCES
would inevitably awaken me.
