I agree, Kat. When I first introduced my girlfriend (who is now just as hardcore/orgasmic about idm as I am) to "the music", I just threw some of the craziest mu-Ziq and aphex tracks at her and instead of "This is shite!", I got "This is awsome!" As a matter of fact, one of her fav albums is Chaos AD's "Buzz Cancer" which, as you may know, is one big noise-fest. Oh, and with regards to women not getting excited about finding rare releases, whenever my girlfriend finds one you'd think someone just stuck their hand down her pants.
