I agree with Michael - being both a huge dub fan and also loving
Vanishing Point, Echo Dek is not a far enough departure from the
original at all. As a stand-alone without knowing the Scream's
album it might have impressed me more, but coming as it did hot
on the heels of VP, I was disappointed that all Adrian Sherwood
added were a few doorbell rings, the odd bit of hard panning and -
tell the truth - not THAT much else.
