ivo once said that colourbox was the most subversive band on 4AD.
i have to agree. and i still love both their CDs. even the extremely
cheesy pop stuff on the s/t album. bonus trainspot: william orbit does
the guitar solo on "manic".
amazing how "baby i love you so" and "looks like we're shy one horse"
are still so incredibly wonderful. heavy heavy dub grooves with 18
billion studio tricks per minute.
i have no idea what they're up to now but i did hear that one of them is
dead.
