Goon is a slang word in English, not oft used anymores, meaning a right
twat, sort of someone who laughs inanely in places where others just cant
find the joke ... a one off oddbod ... but curiously enuff, considering da
Global Goon's from Yorkshire not Cornwall, Goon is a very commonly used
prefix to Cornish place names, as in Goonhavern, Goonhilly Downs ..., not
quite sure of the Kernow exact definition, perhaps the Rephlex Krew could
help out on that one!

ps: Can't for the life of me understand how some of you have slated Leila's
release on Rephlex as "utter shite"! Tis one of the most mind
bending/blowin tracks I've heard in aaaaages ... a dark and heavy triphoppy
piece (faint reminders of Marvin Gaye's Inner City Blues ...) deep and
dark. with dirty sex and funk heavin thru it, ohhhhh man,I wanna dance to
this, some of the Rephlex crew had better play this tomorrows down Rephresh
or else i'm gonna be askin why! And the A side, "Don't fall asleep" ... a
lush orchestral sweep of longing ... minimalist but full of lush emotions
and then whooompf! reality sets in and she wants to fuck it all up in some
mental maelstrom at the end ... a place where lush dreams and dark
nightmares collide ... Respect girl! One of the finest things I've heard
from Rephlex in a while ...
