Well, it started as a side-project of Skinny Puppy featuring the two SP instrumentalists - cEvin Key and Dwayne Goettel - along with some friends of thier's including Phil Western (Off & Gone, Cap'm Stargazer) and Mark Spybey (Dead Voices On Air). Once Puppy split up and Goettel died, it became Key's main gig. Spybey left earlier this year, and the current line-up is Key, Western and Anthony Valcic, who worked with Puppy in the studio quite a bit. I'm assuming that you probably picked up III, which is quite different in many ways from the earlier Download material. I actually find it has a lot more in common with the trio's Plateau project (album Music For Grassbars available on Cleopatra/Hypnotic). You can find a lengthy review that I wrote of III on my website at: http://www.interlog.com/~stained/feedback/reviews And you can find the official Download site at: http://www.vkool.com/subconscious Greg
