Why is this not a forum for house music? You're talkin' to a grrrrrrrrrrrl born in bred in Chicago where Cajual, Derrick Carter, Frankie Knuckles, Mark Grant, Ralphi Rosario, Lil Louis, Larry Heard all left/leave their imprint. We were breakin' it down in '87 '88 at Fantasy (Lil Louis' club on south Michigan) and the original Warehouse with FK when you were still listening to Depeche Mode. Sorry, but there's some sublime, deep shit goin' on round these parts. IDM would have taken a completely different turn without House as an influencing factor. I will ALWAYS tip my hat to 4-on-the-floor thank you. BTW, don't you think Motorbass and alot of the French stuff that is coming out lately is majorly influenced by the Chicago trax sound??? As we say here, " I guess dey pissin on theyself den, ah-ight"
