i agree wholeheartedly !!!! my palmpilot pro has been the biggest
productivity drain / boon (matter of perspective) since i got my first PC.
there is a pocketsynth program, but if the thing can't even dial a phone, i
can't imagine the pads are too strong.
but...... roland has actually released a combo PDA/pocket synth; i think i
saw it in WIRED.
minidisc to MIDI to roland pocket rocket. the subway gig can't be far
away....
