I actually wound up liking this record better than many of the more hotly
anticipated Rephlex goods (DMX, Bochum, Cylob). It's a nice twist on the
Paradinas/James canon that's both lighthearted and very clever. He only
sings on a few tracks and it blends well when he does. There's something
vaguely Beefheartian about it in my mind.
