They are not all 'old' men. The other day, whilst listening to Aphex on my
walkman, a young man (notebook in hand) sat next to me, straining to look
through me out of the window everytime a train passed. With a satisfied look he
wrote the numbers down.
After a while he sat opposite me and gave me some enquiring looks. I thought he
was interested in the music so I told him more about Aphex, idm and the use of
the term trainspotter. However, he was mesmorised by the fact that I was
wearing leather boots in summer. He seemed to want to know everything about
leather boots. Peculiar fellar ...
