This was my first experience with a bad CD as well. Came home so excited to take this one for a spin, and the only thing coded onto it was an 11:14 track of squeal and hiss--boy were my ears happy with that one! Gotta remember to keep that headphone volume down when starting a new CD! Anyway, I took it back to the shop where I bought it, and they ever so cheerfully gave me their only other copy. Works beautifully. bella
