that was actually Oliver Lieb (Harthouse/Eye-Q) and Dr. Atmo (FAX artist: Silence, Escape, Sad World, etc.) on the FAX sublabel which has nothing to do with Namlook. the CD tells you to start as soon as the last credit ends and goes in time with the film. It's quite good and I prefer it much more than the original score by Phillip Glass. It's not really something I'd want to listen to on its own though. ___ / / / / / / _ __/ (_/__/ / (__ (__ ___/

If that's the case, then why didn't the article on him in Trance Europe Express 2 mention it? Quite an oversight on their part, if you're right (I doubt it). C. -- cspot@netcom.com (Chris.Hilker)........a good-foot dance in a dusted trance

Just incidentally, does everyone know that David K. Collins a.k.a. Chris Clarke is completely full of shit? Just so everyone knows what Manitobans are up to these days ... - Greg

If I am wrong I apologize. I did not mean to insult (hi greg), nor to provide bad information. Mine came from a friend who is a Bill Leeb (the Front Line Assembly-guy) collector. He has everything the guy has put out. When I saw a Melody Maker or NME article on OLIVER Leeb with a picture that struck me as looking like BILL Leeb, I contacted my friend (in San Jose) and he seemed to think that they were the same person, that BILL Leeb had moved to Frankfurt and started making Trance under various aliases. He suggests that there are several similar sounds between the various projects and this OLIVER LEEB. And yes, I had noticed no mention of previous projects in the NME/MM article, but attributed that to psudonyms and keeping the industrial side from the technoy side. If this is wrong info, then, yes, I am full of shit. In which case I feel quite stupid and very embarrassed. But I thought it wascoming from an extremely reliable source that coincided with my own observations. I promise never to spew again unless I have hard copy in front of me. Apology accepted? chris clarke

You are. Apology accepted, excuse not.

Everything? List the releases.... Go ahead...

he "seemed" to think. He "seemed" to look like Oliver. Sorry, but that's really not very solid "evidence" to post a message "informing" people of something. Bill live in Vancouver, BC. He and Rhys have a studio there. They are not likely to move to Frankfurt.

Similar? As in ELECTRONICALLY DERIVED? Please....

You REALLY must not know all of Bill and Rhys' projects....

Embarrassment is due.

No, you thought. <period>

I must read my TEEX2 booklet again. I'm seeing him tonight live here at a club in Sydney. And he's promising to use no DATs for backup. Umm, OK. A. \ / [AndrewJ] - + - / \

Please don't refer to 'Koyaaanisqatsi' as a Coppola film; it was directed by Godfrey Reggio. Coppola was only one of the executive producers or something like that. C. -- cspot@netcom.com (Chris.Hilker)........a good-foot dance in a dusted trance
