Monday, September 19th, 1994 at 7:10pm hi there - i expect to be thoroughly vilified for mentioning this on the idm list, but i know that there are a few kindred spirits out there... i picked up the waterlillies full length "tempted" and i am pretty impressed with the production and dance/pop sensibility that they show. there are about 5 or 6 tracks with some really nice bass and sequenced synth parts, much in the vein of pet shop boys. also, if you're into whispery/willowy female vocals a la opus 3, then this one's for you. also, the cd single of "tempted" has two rather nice 8 min trance builders remixed/redesigned by spooky (from guerilla records) and the album in general has a sort of guerilla feel to it. lots of smooth bass and ethereal synth patches, but definitely aiming at the top 40. fyi... jwgrote@indiana.edu --------------------- stereo casualty, basscadet
