Good God this disc is astounding. After receiving it from Dave Walker (THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!) on Saturday, I fell asleep to the first two tracks and woke up to the third. #3 is _AMAZING_. Mountain Goat crossed with classic Twin type beats and sampled footsteps in time with the beat. With each subsequent release, Tom and Mark are rising to the top of my all time favorites. All I can say is that I want that new Global Communication album NOW.

What's the title and artist for track #3? The guys from Reload?? Mark Pritchard and Tom Middleton? They're on the AI2 compilation as Link, with a track called "Arcadian" -kc

Anyone else think the first couple of minutes of this track is *very* reminiscent of early Jarre? I thought I was listening to Oxygene with some Zoolook style vocal samples thrown in. Amazing. Blood music retranslation is excellent, but I can't find the Reload album anywhere. Time to go shopping in the big city... Mark Mark Dobie MS Windows? Linux and X! The entire disc is Global Communication (ie: Reload). I don't have it here in front of me, so I can't tell you the name of #3.

Ah, ok, Global Communication is the artists' name. It sounded like a label (like Global Cuts). How does this compare to their "A Collection of Short Stories?" I love that CD!! Reload is WAY awesome. -kc

I saw this one mentioned as 'Obselon Minus EP' by Kiongaku in a magazine. I don't know if they were right of course.

Looking forward to this one!! Don't they also run a sublabel: Symbiotic? I have a Link 12" on this label anyway. Cat# SYM 001. It's a 3-track EP and unfortunatly there are no titles on the label. The EP may be called 'Augar', but i'm not sure about it. It is very good though :) Cheers, -- +-----------------------------------+ | Hans Veneman | | E-mail: veneman@tv99ad.hacktic.nl | | phone: +31(0)3200-35266 | +-----------------------------------+

Addition to the Pritchard/Middleton discog... There'a mystic Institute track on the compilation "Narcosis". I forget the name of it, and label, but its there. Also, there a 10" (supposedly limited edition) by NYC (New York Connection called "In Front...You Wan' It?", which I am convinced is Reload. All the acknowledgeemnts on the record are the same as for short stories, and it has vaguely reload-ish sounds (tho' not very). The whole package looks like one very good, very subtle pisstake of the entire house scene. Anyway, that was released in March this year.... NYC (New York Connection) Tracks: "In front....You wan' it?" "NYC dub" Label: New York Connection et voila darko
