I just got off the phone with the dance director at ffrr - I asked him what the status of the next Orbital record was and he said that there are 5 tracks finished so far but there's no way it will be released before September. :( They just signed Consolidated and will have a release in June. There's a new Paul Weller 12" with remixes done by the man himself. He says they are very incredible inna On-U-Sound stylee ...I will post once I get it. I told him that I had heard that very rumor, and he laughed. He said that they have five tracks that they are listening to right now, and "there's no way it will be out before September". Mark Pistol has just finished a new record which he recorded here in SF, his new home. Sources say that he was working with Jack Dangers (also a new SF resident) of Meatbeat on the record.

Actually, Jack Dangers had quite a hand in the last Consolidated LP and has been working with them for quite a while.... Matt
