Hi all, I've heard that Reload is going to do a John Peel session this friday on BBC1 ! However, I live in the Netherlands, and receive it damn poorly :-(( Anyone in the UK nice enough to record it, make a copy off it on tape, and send it to me?? (of course the costs will be paid for..) speaking of reload...i've been doing some serious listening to the stuff i've gotten lately and the reload mix of on keeps coming back as being very nice. i saw the following two cd's in the ear/rational catalog: Reload - A Collection of Short Stories [3866] import Reload - Auto Reload Vol. 2 [6024] Creation can anyone give an opinion on these? any comparisons? gripes? randy

Imho, the best idm-thingy last year. It's long, dark, sinister, scary ambient. This really grows on you. The first time I heard it in a recordstore, and judging a record then is difficult. I thought the beats where too loud for my liking, so I didn't buy it. Later I heard it again at a friend of mine, and the beats came on like a melody! It totally blew me away. It doesn't have /that/ much beat though, just that you don't get the wrong impression.

At first a bit disappointing. The first track is utter brilliance though. Btw, look out for Mystic Institute's "ob-selon mi-nos". That's also from Tom & Mark of Reload. Personally, I think that is the best thing they've made yet. It has so much feeling in it, I didn't know that it was possible for anyhting outside country-blues to give me such a feeling, it sounds truly sad.

Wow, it seems as if we all agree.
