While we're talking about GC, I'd like to post their discography as I know it. Please note this discography is practicalized: I deleted releases that have no exclusive tracks (i.e. some of the Evolution ones). Anybody who can add on, please do. And the Reload and Evolution CD's are ones to keep in mind for your "Best of the Decade" list. Also if I remember correctly the Wire or NME or somebody like that had "76:14" as the second most essential ambient album of all time (behind Aphex's SAW2). Of course, I don't think they had any FAX on that list, and Amorphous Androgynous was on it, so maybe it wasn't comprehensive. full: Theory of Evolution CD (Warp) Jedi Knights: New School Science CD (Clear) Reload: A Collection of Short Stories CD (Infonet) Remotion: The Global Communication Remix Album CD (Dedicated) Global Communication: 76:14 2CD (Dedicated Japan - features the two Maiden Voyage 12"s as the extra tracks) half: Link: Antacid CD (Warp - has both 12"s) Link 12" (Symbiotic) The Chameleon 12" (Good Looking Records) Link: The First Link 12" (Evolution) Global Communication: The Keongaku EP 12" (Evolution) - also one on Dedicated Reload: The Autoreload EP 12" (Evolution) Reload: The Reload EP 12" (also known as "Birth of a Disco Dancer) (Evolution) Jedi Knights: May the Funk Be With You 12" (Clear) Autoreload EP Volume 2 CD?? (Evolution??) - don't know about this one Link: Amenity 12"?? (Dawn 1st??) - don't know about this one Matt --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Wouldn't there also be (on the 12"s): The Deep The Way and (don't know where it would fit): Pentamous Metamorphosis (almost definitely not spelled like that) Theres a good webpage out there by GC that has like all their releases under all their names but the bookmark escapes me. It had a green background and was not terribly well organized, but had good content. You should know it when you find it. Paelon

In addition to their idm and other releases, Tom Middleton has also had a few house records as the Modwheel, and most recently as Cosmos. For those of you outside the world of house, Cosmos - Summer in Space was one of the biggest house tracks of 1999. Nobody has mentioned Pulusha either, an one-off ep by Middleton. (maybe they have, I'm on digest.) Oddly, I did three hours of GC as a spotlight on my show yesterday. Middleton claims he'll be using Cosmos as a name for a while, since he's signed a deal with Island. The boys' webpage is www.ulp.co.uk. Hasn't been updated in months. The Modwheel: Destination Morocco. Heard Records (HRDV 001) Cosmos: Summer in Space. 2x12" + 7" (Blue) Philip Downey __________________________________________________________ Get your FREE personalized e-mail at http://www.canada.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
