static seems to be the appropriate place for this to be heard. this is
more in the usual vein of phthalo releases. noisy, odd, disjointing. if
you liked the crunchy beats of the phthalocyanine or crank releases, or
even the recent low res on plug research, this is something to track down.
at this point in time, i am having a harder time staying engaged when i
listen to skam/mas/etc., but that is not an issue here. some of it sounds
like what u-ziq would be doing today if he would have made the successors
to tango and bluff limbo- bass that sounds dirty and overdriven with bells
and other noise makers swirling around. along with the new kit clayton,
this a strong start in 99 for phthalo with 2 new releases (ost and dntel)
apparently on the way.
