hey everyone,
u may remember my free audio/video event series, Locale Sundays in
Chicago and Locale Tuesday in Hollywood.
Now this is my second month as guest host for the two-floor Knobturnal
series in Los Angeles. Last month was insane, with the Live PA by The
Techno Terrorist vs Brasswork Agency, and sick dubstep upstairs by
Nalepa, Nosaj Thing, and Geno Cochino. This month is very special,
marked by a live collaborative performance by Richard Devine and Josh
of Phoenecia, and with original-music opening acts Brasswork Agency and
Basek, true IDM treats! Downstairs will keepya dancing with a tagteam
DJ set of experimental house music by LeftHouse Recording artists Brian
McGuire + Jupit3r, supported by Kay2, Russell Vare, and Dean Paul of
the Droid Behavoir collective. Hope to see fellow IDMers out, come say
hello to me!
