For all the Found Sound fans on the list (I know there are a few), I just saw this in an upcoming releases list... SPOOKY - BELONG -PROMO-4 MIXES ...about time too. On an unrelated note, has anyone heard the autechre remix of Jello? Not what I was expecting at all, a completely beatless piano composition (although I'm not entirely sure what speed it should be played at). After Drukqs, seems like all the old IDM artists are trying their hands at Erik Satie-tastic piano music. Nice new material with atmospheric female vocal. “Brand new material from CHARLIE MAY's revived progressive house project from the early 90's. Features 4 mixes that range from prog house to chill to techier sounds." A1. Splinter Mix - pumping progressie house mix w/ vocal A2. Flangescopic Dub - techno ish progressive mix with no vocal B1. original - pretty, atmospheric multi-layered female vocals (Julie Daske) over mellow funk house groove B2. Echospace Mix - Biosphere like ambient mix with background bass pulse, reverbed vocal and key chords

Whoops - progressive house? Not one of my favourite genres, brings to mind John Digweed and endless naff synth washes. Still, I suppose some of their earlier tracks like 'relief' could be loosely classed as such, and I still rather like that. Didn't there used to be two of them, though? It would be a shame if they turned back on their 'Found Sound' style - if you ask me that was one of the great 'lost' electronic albums. Dan.

yay! found sound was a real gem, as was their red stereo ep, but found sound is something of a forgotten album, great stuff. this is a much more interesting comeback than yet another orbital album. goody. /f - - - another high-quality message from franz@802.com / www.802.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

i still buy cd's and unfortunately this time. as far as i know his last is still one of my all time favorites, hungrily grabbed up this new release. apparently he has gone back to his ahem house roots, nothing against house you understand.
