Don't know if there are any perl hackers out there, but in the O'Reilly book "Spidering Hacks" they are used in some samples provided in the book. I'm not sure which of the authors, Kevin Hemenway or Tara Calishain, likes Autechre, but I love easter eggs like that. Just thought I'd share - David

Can you be more specific? How do you sample Autechre in a printed book? ;) The funny thing is that you could probably say that Autechre is to music what Perl is to computer languages. At their best they both spawned a lot of creativity as pioneers. And when they are both at their worst you want to say "Good God, how did you do that?
