KID606 aka Miguel Depedro, born 1979 in Venezuela and raised in California,
dropped out of school and life to make music and run around the world
bringing his uniquely reckless fucked up and beautiful music to our fucked
up and beautiful world (one dance party at a time). Insipired by the best of
electronica, punk, jungle, hiphop, Bass, dancehall and techno, kid606 Fuses
it all together with a love of POP culture that andy warhol would approve.
Critically acclaimed releases (both legal and illegal) on ipecac,mille
plateaux, fatcat, 555, his own tigerbeat6 label as well as remixes for
artists as disparate as depeche mode, the locust, peaches, and super furry
animals have painted a clear portrait of kid606 as a inspired, angry and
iconoclastic artist more concerned with emotional content then popularity
and unwilling to be pigeonholed in any vacant scene or soulless musical

We're a Dallas based band that makes shoegazy pop music and video using
obsolete 70'd and 80's computer and videogame gear, accompanied by female
vocals. The code to drive the music and video is our own, and it's all dirty
assembly language. Music comes from Commodore 64s, an old PC FM sound card
(OPL3), and a dot matrix printer, and video is all Atari 2600. Our music is
noisy pop, often with unusual song structure, and the video ranges from
abstract color noise to actual hacked and deconstructed Atari 2600 games. We
perform regularly at festivals and new media venues in New York and Europe,
and our cd that we released last year has received a flood of positive
reviews. Our videos have been screened at galleries and festivals in New
York, Canada, and Europe.

Kevin Deal a.k.a. Bexarametric (pronounced like the weather term,
"barometric") is a one-man project featuring a wide variety of musical
influences (intelligent dance, drum & bass, jazz, ambient & classical). His
unique style of writing is abandonment from typical European dance styles.
Instead, he pushes an American-jazz songwriting style blended with
experimental electronic effects, filter tricks & sequencer abuse.
Bexarametric's prolific writing has earned him much acclaim on internet
music sites such as Sony's ACIDplanet (number one rated artist and featured
artist for the Sony Product Catalog Q1 2005). Deal further strengthened his
internet presence in early 2003 with his first full-length release,
Bexarametric Pressure LP, on Metric Style Records - distributed through
Tower Records (topped at number two on their drum & bass bestsellers list),
CD Baby, Absolutely.net (Ranked in the Electronic Top 40 in Canada for most
downloaded albums) & iTunes. His live shows are also something to marvel.
The Dallas Observer said "Bexarametric's delicious sprinkles of melodic
sampling and fury delivers a performance that will make one weak in the
knees". In the meantime, Kevin has stayed busy playing shows, such as the
23rd Central Texas Ambient Campout, AMODA, a Summer 2005 European tour and
is a regular participant in the Dallas area Laptop Deathmatches.
