ya. just grab any sound recording program, and set your windows recording device to either "what you hear" or "wave". that's the easiest way to do it. but its time consuming because you're recording whatever you hear, so you have to play the whole thing. im sure the guys on here know how to extract audio from the video itself. What is the file format? avi, avi (divx), mpg.. etc? -- Danny Rosen Webmaster http://www.fullalbums.com http://dannybase.fullalbums.com

If you want to work with the digital files, here's how: 1. Decrypt and copy the DVD (PC: DVD Decrypter, Mac: Mac the Ripper) 2. Demux the VOB files (vStrip or BBDemux is good) 3. You will be left with two or more files, the MPEG2 video files and the AAC-encoded audio files. Check out http://www.doom9.org for more info. 2005-10-25 06:19Andrew HimeI should clarify. It's a standard AVI file pulled down from a ReplayTV unit... not a DVD.

Perfect solution. I will treasure it always, and thank you. They should update the site so it doesn't look so outdated, though. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I doubt someone will do that - the project has been abandoned for years now... -- Kurt Bernhard Pruenner Web-Entwicklung AKh Linz +43 732 7806 6786 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I see updated versions as of a couple of months ago, when you go to download. There's also a forum... --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

no offense but the fact that the project was abandoned just means it's been left for the next man to have need for it to fix! On 10/25/05, Kurt Pruenner <leak@gmx.at> wrote:

Well, the project maybe, but not the projects website on Sourceforge - that's what I was talking about... -- Kurt Bernhard Pruenner Web-Entwicklung AKh Linz +43 732 7806 6786 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
