Just got this msg from Gas (Mat Jarvis, behind the seminal album "0095").. he's dug up some music from his archives! Here's to hearing the whole of his unreleased "2298" lp someday... -lempamo -------- Forwarded Message -------- Hello all, I’ve just released new High Skies music, which is the first in a new series of releases. This one is actually an unreleased GAS track from the 90s. HIGH SKIES - SATURN IN FREEFALL How does it feel to be trapped in a decaying orbit around a dying planet with little chance of escape? Deep-phased electronics and layered synthetics, performed live in the studio with three analogue synthesizers. https://highskies.bandcamp.com As a small thanks, the track is free for subscribers to my new email list at https://matjarvis.com/#subscribe It’s been a few years since my last newsletter so I decided that I should remove all names and start again to avoid any risk of being considered as spam. If you’ve previously signed up for my newsletter I’d greatly appreciate if you could sign up again… https://matjarvis.com/#subscribe Many thanks for the support Mat Jarvis <https://gas0095.bandcamp.com/community?from=com-e-nm&sid=818862&st=sm>

this is amazing news! the original 90’s em:t catalog was responsible for my fall into the rabbit hole. i hold the 90’s, especially mid 90’s so very dear as there are a multitude of amazing ‘ambient groove,’ albums and then i found hyperreal and joined this list, along with the Fax and ambient list. i still have all the original digipacks. several comps were made for US retail that were released in jewel cases. the beauty of the nature based artwork makes them highly collectible alone. anyway, so glad i caught this email. gas 0095 is so excellent and stands up today. for beginners of this artist and the defunct label, try ‘em:t 2000.’ great 2 disc comp. Sent from my iPhone, hence grammatical and spelling errors are a logical assumption.

that would be amazing. Woob 1194 changed my life. he did a couple other albums i have after that act which were good, but not woob. i have no idea what, if anything he’s up to. i tried tracking him down a long bit ago to no end, but wait, he’ll be on bandcamp or something. im internet lazy in my later years… Sent from my iPhone, hence grammatical and spelling errors are a logical assumption.
