one more trip to radio shack for XLR male to XLR
female, and hey... no more 60 hertz hum!!! =)
hurray!!!
so my new configuration is: direct from my mackie
mixer into my sub and speakers.
as far as DJing goes... i am going out of my pioneer
DJ mixer into my mackie mixer, and then out of my
mackie into the sub and speakers.
(the hum was a problem steming from my pioneer dj
mixer)
as far as music production from my computer goes... i
am going out of my motu 828 sound card into my mackie
mixer, so the mackie mixer is now the main controler
of everything which is how it should have been in the
first place, but hey... i'm learning. ;)
