Wow this takes the cake for stupid lawsuits, and about the most un-"punk" thing I can think of. Although maybe now the appropriatly named Handsome Dick Manitoba, (except for maybe the handsome or Manitoba part) can now go and sue the canadian province for naming themselves after him. Bankrupt canada, and then become military dictator of Canada. --- Alan Lucas <alucas@gmail.com> wrote:

Reminds me of when Harrods, a London department store, decided to sue Harrods, a New Zealand department Store. The whole town in NZ got together and renamed the town "Harrods" in defence. Well, except Manitoba is already called Manitoba. I wonder if Mr Snaith has just bent out of pressure and hasn't checked if this guy lawyer is talking with his dick or something? I wonder if he could ask Manitoba state to stop this Dick from using Manitoba? On 7 Oct 2004, at 17:56, Chispas De Muerte wrote:

He's on a new three-way split release with Freeform & Rip-Off Artist on the Inflatabl label (www.inflatabl.com). It's called Blu Tribunl, and all three artists present their version/varation on traditional Blues music. It's pretty interesting, and one Akufen track in particular is outstanding. The best stuff I've heard from akufen lately is that horror inc stuff. there's a brand new release on boomkat that is very nice, lots of piano and minimal house type sound. And that blame canada remix as previously mentioned.. My recent purchase from him is that international pony leaving home remix, its hot as well. I have also heard the plej.. I can't say I was as moved as I was about these others here.. Maybe I'm just a sucker for his anthems. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

One other great thing released is the CRACKHAUS "Blame Canada" 12", with the "AKUFEN's Morning Dump in the Bush of God mix"---whenever i hear this one it makes me think of an Electronic Hillbilly Band made up of 'Self-Transforming Machine Elves' as members..... We like MARC LECLAIR. np: "Unreleased Incidental Music from 'DAWN OF THE DEAD'" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
