The disc is region free. (i.e region 0) so it shouldn't have any trouble playing on any player. Are you sure you ordered the PAL version and not the NTSC version (the PAL version has cat number WARPD122XPAL and the NTSC version is WARPD122XNTSC). Failing that I would say your player is at fault. Neil On Mon, 27 Sep 2004 20:25:30 +0200, Michael Scheer <listen@autechre.de> wrote:

The booklet says WARPD122. In the center of the DVD I find: WARP122NAL1 and WARP122NAL0. When I ordered at Warpmart I can't remember anything about pal or ntsc. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Looks like you have the NTSC version. I have the PAL version and it says WARPD122 in the centre. This is from the Warpmart Ordering page: "***PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR FORMAT CAREFULLY! WARPMART ARE THE ONLY OUTLET WHERE YOU CAN PURCHASE THE LIMITED EDITION NTSC VERSION OF THE DVD, WHICH COMES IN THE LIMITED EDITION PAL PACKAGING BUT CONTAINS AN NTSC DISC.***" Probably a bit of a mistake to put the NTSC version at the top, I know quite a few people that have been caught out. Erm, yes. According to Warpmart people I have ordered the ntsc one. And I remember it took me 5 seconds to order and I didn't carefully read, ordered the first item and didn't even recognize there was a second dvd. I need to send it back and they'll exchange it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

If you happen to have a Windows PC with a DVD-Rom drive lying about, get DVD Decrypter at http://www.dvddecrypter.com/ and Daemon Tools at http://www.daemon-tools.cc/, rip the DVD into a region free ISO file on your harddrive using DVD Decrypter, mount it with Daemon Tools and play it with the DVD playing application (Media Player Classic, VideoLAN Client, mplayer, ...) of your choice - all it should cost is a bit of your time. -- Kurt Bernhard Pruenner --- Haendelstrasse 17 --- 4020 Linz --- Austria .......It might be written "Mindfuck", but it's spelt "L-A-I-N"....... np: Gescom - Tr2A (ISS:SA) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
