Set for release tommorow on Component Records : Portland- My Daily Routine Com-116 CDEP On My Daily Routine, Portland (Spencer Lytle) presents his interpretation of classic IDM. This 8 track EP is based on Portland's three point approach to song writing (1.Emotional, 2.Cruchy, 3.Melodic). While the intent may be simple, the songs themselves are more than a sum of their parts and add up to an introspective and melancholic masterwork. Life itself was perhaps the biggest influence on My Daily Routine- "All of my songs are written with a thought or feeling that was generated by those around me."-Portland. Features a collaboration with Dryft on "The Last Ever" and a remix of Van Houten by Somatic Responses.
