I was surprised no one has mentioned Fennesz's new release 'Venice' on here yet. Although it has some bland moments there is a lot of great music on it. 'River of Sand' and the track with David Sylvian, 'Transit', are really beautiful. What's everyone else think of it so far? k a i s e r

I'm not totally convinced by the Sylvian collab. But my total favourite of the album is #9 (The Point of it All) which is sublime. Great album all round in the ambient sense. I picked it up two weeks ago and have since listened to the first six tracks several times over. I haven't made it to the second half for some reason (can't comment on the collaborations), but I'm finding it very enjoyable so far. Its worth mentioning that the album's packaging is lovely.
