hello all-another lurker coming out to ask for some suggestions for some glitched out IDM albums i might not have. i am sure many IDMers have recomended it too... i picked up a copy of martes by murcof off the leaf label this last summer, beautiful, thoughtful, linked lines to enesmble on rephlex...also similar in a bipolar fashion to some planet mu and hymen releases is very bordered, carefully crafted and precise static/fluid glitchcore: hvartski, venetian snares and bilous paths by mu-ziq come to mind all have been listened to obsessively as well as incorporating many pieces into sets since then.... I agree - that murcof record is one of the best idm-list suggestions of last year. I saw him do an in-store at Smallfish when I was in London and it was stunning to see a whole store full of heads standing around with their eyes closed for like an hour , opening them infrequently to check someone else who had their eyes open - exchange smiles and then zone out again ... dave Nth 808 wrote:
