http://uhfest.underground.hu/ From the Ultrahang festival in Budapest this past summer. Live sets available from Kid606, Dwayne Sodahberk, Tigrics, Vladislav Delay, Frank Bretschneider, Luomo, Goem, AGF, and more.. I'm just downloading em myself, so i can't comment on any of them yet. File size varies from about 20 to 95 MBs for each performance. -thorsten |- highpoint lowlife records winter collection 2003\ |---- n.ln // fisk industries // si-cut.db --------\ |---- http://www.highpointlowlife.com ---------------\ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I don't recognize it. The Luomo (also V.Delay) is very nice, too. The Frank Bretschneider is good, though a lot of it sounds exactly the Komet - 'Gold' disc. The Goem is great. seek --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Blew me away, it did. I haven't heard much of Goem's material, yet its a name i;ve seen around. Also highly recommend the Tigrics one, he puts on an amazing live show, and the Ultrahang set must be one of the best of his i've heard, starting from really nice warm granular textures, building into some great crunchy beats and melodies. -thor --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Any Goem is worth picking up, imo. 'Disco' and 'Stud Stim' are both excellent.

Thanks for the tip on that one. I'm now in the process of downloading that one. Sloooow, compared to the rest of what I've downloaded from Ultrahang Fest. seek --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

agree, this is the type of thing i'd like to hear more of; it's very minimal and very good, shame it's only 21mins long. Can anybody recommend/describe any of the artists on this site? I really like the Kid606 and D Sodahberk, but am ashamed to say I'm not really that familiar with the rest. I tend to like the noisier more aggressive stuff, and I'm not exactly a Vladislov fan. You think I might like anybody else on there? http://uhfest.underground.hu/ From the Ultrahang festival in Budapest this past summer. Live sets available from Kid606, Dwayne Sodahberk, Tigrics, Vladislav Delay, Frank Bretschneider, Luomo, Goem, AGF, and more..
