YES! It's a great record indeed, with such a unique mixture of sounds -
bits of IDM, garage/two-step and glitch-tech with vocals in the style of
David Sylvian/John Foxx and other soulful synthpop artists.
And I'm proud to say that they're Toronto boys (well, from Hamilton
originally, but based in Toronto now). I had them down on my radio show a
few weeks ago, and we had a great chat about their influences and thoughts
on various forms of music, electronic or otherwise.
I don't think the record has a lot of distribution yet, but there should be
some info at the Kin Records website - www.electrokin.com
