nkhstudio is the creative outlet for sound designer and visual
artist Nate Harrison. Since 1995 Nate has worked in the print
design and new media industries and has been making his own
brand of electronic music under various aliases for projects
including PBS, Showtime, The American Museum of Natural History
and the Whitney Museum of American Art. He has also performed
his sound art in venues including The Knitting Factory, FUN (NYC)
and the Tribeca Film Festival. In 1997 Nate founded töshöklabs,
a pioneering NYC electronic microlabel which released works by
Headshell and Caural among others. As of Winter 2002/2003
Nate is working on some dancefloor oriented material for the
COAD and Record Camp labels.
