I was thinking this is a bit like rewarding nerds sitting at computers, and it's just your luck if your email is on the list earlier. For instance, I reacted to one of these before, immediately on getting the email and it was already out of stock (that was Furthur Electronix one time, I got it the next time, but there was only a few minutes in it). I'm not sure how I feel about that, being a nerd, and probably not early enough on the list anyway.
Just noticed it says "Pre-order" but underneath it says "In stock, shipping now."
