The following are ongoing Ebay auctions: Alder & Elius ? Parental Advisory (Skam) IDM http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=925899868 A Skam single featuring ?music created by Justin and Jesika? which was in turn given titles like ?Bionic Vagina?, ?Digital Toddler? in a pleasing enough lo-fi electro with found vocal sounds (crowds, movie dialogue, obscene hip-hop toasting) context. Diskono ? I?m So Bored With USA Vol. 2 IDM http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=925894409 Scotland's Diskono crew cram Kid 606, Brindle Spork, Andre Estermann, and other lo-fi electricians together on the blue vinyl ?I?m So Bored With the USA Volume 2? seven inch release. A fine collection of surealism/noise art/post-dancefloor elektro on this 9 tracker. Mellowtrons / Meat Beat Manifesto Skam IDM http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=926126964 A Meat Beat 12" on Skam? Both of the tunes on this release are slow with dub-y bass lines, lots of blips and bleeps, some short atmospheric interludes, weirded out intro and outro spoken samples, etc. "Bittersweet.." is more bass driven with a heavy, distant beat loop. It's good, but a little dull in comparison to the flipside. "Not Playing God..." has a more upfront beat and more depth: scratches, samples, squelchy keyboard lines and floaty atmospheres. All in all a decent 12?. Aphex Twin ? Windowlicker 12? (Warp) IDM Skam http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=926130186 ?Windowlicker? is curiously foreign and familiar, at once a stunning track in its own right. A strangely Aphex take on soul the rhythm is a complex melange of irregular anti-percussion and straight 4/4 electro, yet the harmonized voices lovingly smeared across the body of the track are incredibly seductive. The second piece, named with an indecipherable mathematical equation, is a fantastic drum 'n' bass derivation, avoiding most of the valueless excesses of the drill 'n' bass era yet with a similarly destructive approach to music as we understand it, its agility and dynamism is awe-inspiring. ?Nannou? is simply beautiful. Isan ? Digitalis (Liquefaction) 12? IDM http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=926403235 This release follows the duo's exceptionally well-received 1998 LP Beautronics on Tugboat. Seven new tracks that have similarities to Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and Add N to X. After five singles and the aforementioned CD, this is probably their most polished work to date. Thank you for reading. _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Well it?s been a month thus far and I?ve attempted to correspond with Dean Penley some ten times to no avail. The hardest thing for me to gage is why he?d ignore an auction of this nature (The Aphex Twin on Rabbit City) yet be so persistent with his solicitations to the IDM list for weeks [i.e.; November 12, 14, 17, 23, 26, 30] on end. Sorry if this grabs you in a strange manner but it?s my darn birthday today and I was really hoping I?d have this reconciled by now. It?s pretty obvious with such negative feedback sitting in his registry like the following: ?Complaint : SENT 100$ FOR A RECORD I NEVER RECEIVED... WATCH OUT FOR THIS ONE!!!? ?Complaint : Bad seller. Reposted item without dispute resolution. Bad packing materials.? ?Complaint : DO NOT SEND CASH. payment sent, item never received.? Dean-O-Matic obviously just doesn?t care about his reputation. [orig. post: Tue, 19 Nov 2002 03:14:46 -0800 (PST)] Who the hell is this guy and why does he never answer his own hotmail address? I personally refuse to pay anyone who doesn't respond to 5 separate e-mails attempts and then sends a standardized Ebay message with the following shady method of payment, "send cash - well concealed to..." Like come on already, who in this day and age doesn't have a Paypal/ Bidpay account already established with their own damn financial institution? Maybe he's still living in the eighties? p.s. I formally apologize to everyone who had the misfortune of laying their eyes on this post but I'm giving Dean O Matic the shadow of doubt that he may finally wake up and answer his e-mail seeing as how I?ve brought this into do light. --- "Dean-O-Matic ." <dean_o_matic@hotmail.com> wrote:

Sorry to bother the list about this matter, but I feel there are at least two different individuals that are attempting to sabotage my Ebay sales. How this person got my real name when I supposedly did not contact this person just goes to show there are a couple people out there trying to do no good. The winner of the Rabbit City Vol. 2 is one mrmammal@optonline.net, so I have no idea who this gaylord person is. I have a general idea who he may be, but if you really want to hear the story just send me an email, otherwise just ignore like I do and the problem will go away. I advertised the Rabbit City once, like all my other auctions, not multiple times as stated by gaylord. If someone is interested in my auctions items, they should put a Watch on it then so they can receive email updates. I really don't have the time to post multiple times for the same item. For those that have dealt with me in the past, you know about the excellent service and music I provide. A lot of it goes very cheaply. For any of those that do not want to buy from me, simple don't and ignore. But you will miss a lot of rarities. Sorry to have taken a few moments of your time. Back to your regularly scheduled IDM posts... _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

3 negatives out of 90 feedback doesn't exactly scream "fraudster." And Ok - let's get this straight - your REAL name is "Gaylord M. Focker" AND, to top that off, you're actually counting on email sent to hotmail.com to get delivered. Wow, you are ... Well ... Wow, words defy description. just to weigh in with my two cents, I have bought from dean in the past, received my record promptly, and his communication with me while purchasing was prompt and accurate. I can't vouch for every sale he's ever made, but he's always been a great seller to me.
