While it's not exactly a new Portishead album, their vocalist Beth Gibbons just released an album in collaboration with Rustin Man (aka Paul Webb of Talk Talk & O'rang). Haven't heard much of it myself aside from a couple of sound samples on the website (http://www.bethgibbons.com/), but it sounds pretty nice, albeit a little more "organic" than Portishead.
