collective, which is gathering some of the best electro/experimental
music from demo-scene artists in Poland - and he is also a contributor
to it. His music is present on many compilations in Poland and abroad.

>> 02. Red Lines - "Noon Parachute"
With Red Lines' latest single 'Noon Parachute,' familiar chords cloaked
in evocative synth textures along with intricately-constructed
percussion pronounce a musical statement of warmth and clarity --
suitable for professional and at-home daydreamers alike.
Red Lines (aka Brandon Reid Huey) is currently at work on a
construction for volume II of the Uberkids project at Observatory and a
long-player collaboration with fellow Kikapu artist Stud. He has
releases at Kikapu and Electraum.

>> 03. Stud - "Phicusology"
Stud is back from the frigid corners of Siberia, this time with a
long-tracker EP of new material exclusive to Kikapu. He comes from the
school of keeping tracks short and to the point, as none of the tracks
present herein eclipse the three minute mark. But unlike other
artists who write short tracks making you the listener feel cheated,
Stud's tracks are so complex and honest that each piece feels like it
has run its length and is fully complete. When listening one can
definitely feel the environment in which Stud calls home; his music is
dark yet genuinely beautiful with its fractured beats and unusual
melodies.
Stud also wanted to include a special treat for this release, so he
gathered some of his closest friends to remix the first track of this
EP, "Damn Arm." Within this release lies fifteen(!) reinterpretations
of this track by Kikapu associates, old and new.

>> 04. Stryph - "No Rush EP"
Niklas Winde has produced exclusively for Kikapu a magnificent EP of
original tracks. Everything here has a kind of 'old-school analog'
vibe to it. You'll see what we mean. These tracks delve into what we
here at Kikapu like to call the 'glory years' of techno - somewhere in
the time period of the late 80's and early 90's. Experiments ranging
from techno to minimalistics to electro make up this diversified
release. We also suggest heading to Stryph's website to hear more
music and order cd's; while you're there make sure and investigate his
massive gear list.
