Naaah, can't say I feel the same way. I have always enjoyed Loveless and on the strength of that bought Isn't Anything - however, that never really gelled with me and I sold it a few years ago. But, hey, it's all down to personal taste... isn't it? both those records are great in their own way.I really like the early stuff too,not the first record with those 2 other people(this is your my bloody valentine or whatever),but strawberry wine and extacy....those are great records too....very byrds and mary chain influenced.I do really enjoy loveless.its is a timeless record that has never really been duplicated,no matter how hard people have tried. Its was very ahead.Everyone should own a copy! i think that because i was too young to have gotten into mbv on the first time around, i bought loveless based on the way people talked about... i had been into sort of loud noisy stuff for a while. loveless really was like a world that you wanted to live in. then when i bought isn't anything... it was okay, but it wasn't as detailed and as broad ranging-- macro to micro-- as loveless. i think buying them in the correct order probably helps to appreciate them. gregory ===== )the fawn )"i thought when i started playing )shows i'd meet a lot of really cool )people, but most of the people i've )met just want me to copy software )for them" __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? my first exposure was "isn.t anything" as well ,which i still love more at least once or twice a year...i kind of rotate my affections between the two...they.re both so fucking good in their own ways. "isn.t anything" obviously is everyone.s fantasy of the perfect rock band ,whereas "loveless" is basically a brand new genre that still no one has touched. (shoegazer or whatever doesn.t count...that is not MBV...they were a totally separate thing). i wish he would stop remixing and being in primal scream and just make SOMEthing...its okay if it sucks ,cause then he can just make something else real quick. bastard. .d: --- Oneaphex@aol.com wrote:
