they went under due to the parent label and then after coming back (I believe on their own) they went under again. really too bad as the label was tops. I put up most of my dot 12"s on ebay and it got me wondering what quant, hab, and folks were up to. I *think* that quant went onto do the binger the voyager cd I recently picked up (at least think its one of those dot fellows). what of the rest of them? anyone? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

There was a Quant Full length "Quantastical Quantasm" and a Metamatics full length "Midnight Sun Pig" both released in 2002. I have everything the label has put out and I think these to releases are the best yet. The put out a whole bunch of 12" in sucsesssion and chilled out for a while.

I beg to differ - afaik Quant's (EXELLENT & very funky) album came out in 2000 and Midnight Sun Pig (also worth buying) is from 2001. Unless they were re-released in 2002? hab had an mp3.com page up for a while...i think it.s still there, but it hasn.t been updated in a while. worth checking out for a few exclusives, and the track that was on the p-vine recordings (japan) compilation '[invasion of the dot knights!] that had some exclusive, vinyl-only, and alternate versions of dot tracks. also...not that long ago quant was released a 12" on hollow recordings (www.hollow.nu) called the 'funkster ep'. word has it that they will be releasing a jol 12" in the future as well. cheers, lim;. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sean Horton" <sean_horton@hotmail.com> To: <chris@gothitica.com> Cc: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Sunday, September 22, 2002 09:21 PM Subject: RE: [idm] DOT records? : >From: "Chris Bellevie" <chris@gothitica.com> : >To: <idm@hyperreal.org> : >Subject: RE: [idm] DOT records? : >Date: Sun, 22 Sep 2002 17:06:29 -0700 : > : > : > : > > : > > Whatever happened to them?
