Telefon Tel Aviv will be playing shows in September along with Hefty
labelmate, T.Raumschmiere and Eastern Development's artist Dabrye, (who will
be playing select dates on the tour). Highlights will include the upcoming
Correspondence Events in Detroit and Chicago on 9/6 and 9/7, a return to
Telefon Tel Aviv's hometown of New Orleans on 9/10 and a pit stop in
Atlanta, the stomping grounds for Eastern Developments, on 9/12.
Knamiproko, which features Ryan Rasheed of East Dev/Leblaze fame and Chris
Case of Samadha Trio (Hefty), have been added to the Atlanta show. Richard
Devine (Warp/Schematic) will DJ the event.
T.Raumschmiere is touring in support of his forthcoming Hefty full-length,
"Anti", which will be released on October 1st. Along with the other dates,
T.Raumschmiere will be playing an additional show in Toronto on 9/5 with
Pan/Tone and Mike Blotto. He recently finished work on his new EP "The
Great Rock N Roll Swindle" to be released on his own Berlin-based,
Shitkatapult (www.shitkatapult.com) label. The EP definitely lives up
to it's title.
Additionally, Broken Wrist Project member and Telefon Tel Aviv guitarist,
James Hughes, will be selling copies of the first Broken Wrist book at all
