Er, to answer my own question:
(from Fat Cat website)
Fennesz v Main
Split 12"
12FAT045
Released: 15 August 2002
The fifteenth split 12" in the series thus far,
Fennesz v Main presents two complementary artists
immersed in the digital music domain yet still
very much rooted in instrumental events and
physical activity. Both artists are noted for
their consistent high quality and abilities to
find genuine new potential for the guitar
through techniques of sampling and digital
reconstruction. With a nod to the astonishing
Rolling Stones and Beach Boys re-inventions
on his "Fennesz Plays" 7", and last year's
beautifully atmospheric and emotional 'Endless
Summer', Fennesz's 3 tracks roll out a series
of overlapping, shimmering melody-waves. On
the other side, Main's colder, alien
soundscapes utilise guitar, bowed cymbals
and piano frame as sound sources.

Subject: Main + Fennesz?
Hello,
Could someone provide info on a
Main and Fennesz collaboration or
split release? I can't remember
where I heard about this, but it
sounds exciting! Thank you!
frank
