I use Atomixmp3 on a PC...in fact I switched from Mac to PC in order to use
this program, and it works great. Use version 1.x, not the buggy 2.0 they
are shipping now. 1.x is rock-stable, simple, and has no detectable latency.
Beat-matching is easy and you can precisely nudge the tracks with the arrow
keys. I usually use two copies of Atomix simulataneously with two sound
cards and a standard DJ mixer to give me the equivalent of four decks on two
channels...I believe I could run three or more soundcards at once if I
wanted to, but I've never tried it, I already have my hands full with this
setup...
As far as I know there is no equivalent out there for Mac...you'll have to
wait for the promised Traktor release. I tried Traktor on the PC but didn't
like it, the interface is too cluttered and confusing. I don't need all
those advanced features, DJing is about selecting and mixing isn't it?
