Hope nobody takes this the wrong way, but Venetian Snares is the new Slayer. Because I mean that in a good way. Brutally aggressive and absolutely relentless. An hour of continued cut up noise breaks. Really fun stuff. Not a bad coupla weekends with VSnares and Kid606 the previous.

Did anyone on this list go to this show? I went, Venetian Snares ripped it up. The most insane show I've ever been too. Didn't really know which Darkmatter djs were which when they played, but one of the guys could scratch like crazy. Darkmatter is one of the best crews in the country as far as breakcore. Their shit always sounds solid as hell. The dj is most likely Baseck. But their producers like Minion & Resurrector are awesome also.
